John W. Howard's Flowchart for Political Success

This chart explains how a never-ending torrent of legislation opposed by every member of the Australian Parliament is being passed with ostensibly bipartisan support. It isn't satire; it merely describes one of the ways in which real life resembles satire. But I publish it under "Satire" for want of a better place to put it.

The first version of this "flowchart" was released on December 10, 2003. It was revised on June 21 and August 13, 2007, and then posted here in time for the August 15 edition of the Carnival of Australia and the "Dog Day" edition of the Carnival of the Liberals.
